Luca has 27 years of experience in purchasing and supply chain management in several national and multinational companies with increasing responsibilities (Esa Electronica, Gewiss, Vemer, Black&Decker Power Tools, Riello Group, GlaxoSmithKline, Montepaschi Group) in different market sectors, both for direct production materials, as well as for indirect goods and services.
From 1990 to 2006 he was an active member of ADACI – Italian Association of Purchasing and Supply Management, holding significant roles in the Lombardy Council as well as in the National Council.
Luca, always involved in the continuous improvement of the purchasing process, has been since 2000 among the few pioneers in the use of information technologies for purchasing management by participating in “beta” projects and implementing the first e-procurement solution in Italy.
In addition, Luca has developed for over 15 years a specific experience and know-how regarding the issues of environmental, social and ethical sustainability of procurement and supply chains.
During his career as a manager, he has participated in more than 200 events, conferences, training courses and workshops at national and international level as testimonial, trainer, speaker and moderator. He has written numerous articles for several magazines.
In 2007 he was co-Founder and Chairman of Acquisti & Sostenibilità, the first ever and only Italian not for profit organization, and second of its kind in Europe, to deal with environmental, social and ethical sustainability of procurement and supply chains, then in 2018 the organization was merged in the not for profit Italian association PLEF – Planet Life Economy Foundation.
Since 2012 he has been interested in and working on sustainable event management. In 2015 he became a professional accredited by the international organization SEA – Sustainable Event Alliance.
In January 2015 Luca decided to become an entrepreneur and with passion, tenacity and enthusiasm he founded Right Hub company.
