Right Hub takes part in the webinar “From Symbolic Assets to Strategic Platforms”

September 14, 2026 - On 16 September 2026, Right Hub will take part in the webinar “From Symbolic Assets to Strategic Platforms,” an international academic event focused on the relationship between sport, sustainability and the strategic management of sports infrastructure.

The webinar will explore the role of sports facilities and their ability to generate long-term value, moving beyond a purely symbolic vision or one linked exclusively to individual events. Perhaps the time has come to move beyond simply sharing “good sustainability practices” in sport.

Many cities already have systems in place to assess public sports facilities and the organisations that manage them. The next question may be: how can we connect these existing frameworks more closely with the value generated for communities, climate adaptation and the development of long-term local partnerships?

Right Hub will be represented by Luca Guzzabocca, Founder & CEO, who will bring a European perspective with a contribution focused on approaches to the long-term management of sports infrastructure.

The discussion will also feature Haruki Sawada, Executive Director of Green Sports Alliance Japan, and Yu Huang, Professor at National Tsing Hua University, bringing together experiences and perspectives from Europe, Japan and Taiwan. The session will conclude with a moderated panel discussion among the speakers.
