Imola, RecoPet Back on Track: Sustainability Takes the Lead at the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
19 May 2025 - 🏁♻️ From May 16 to 18, during the Formula 1 AWS Grand Prix of Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna 2025, the Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Circuit in Imola reaffirmed its commitment to a more sustainable motorsport. Just days after the Acerbis Italian Round of the WorldSBK Championship at the Cremona Circuit, COREPLA—supported by Right Hub—brought RecoPet back to the track: a project aimed at promoting the proper collection and recycling of PET beverage bottles.
Eco-compactors were installed in the FanZone, selective waste bins were placed in food areas, and a team of Green Rangers was deployed to engage fans and raise awareness about responsible plastic waste management.
Through this approach, RecoPet has become not only an environmental initiative but also a real opportunity for education and active participation among event attendees.
